Education (Room 8E-A East Wing); Environment (Hearing Room 1,
North Office Building); Health (Room 8E-B East Wing); State Government
(Majority Caucus Room); and Transportation (Hearing Room 2, North Office
Building).
Noon - General Legislative and Voting Session (Hearing Room 1, North Office
Building)
About: The event provides students first-hand experience
in how the legislative process works. Student ‘senators’ are divided into
committees to discuss bills, take positions, and draft laws for the “full
Senate” to debate and vote on. This is the third year Senator Folmer has hosted
the event.
