Internships

If you are an energetic, outgoing and civic-minded college student looking for a chance to learn more about state government and public service, then you may be the perfect candidate for an internship in my office. 

Interns serve both in the district and Harrisburg and works closely with the legislative, community outreach, and constituent relation team members. This opportunity will enable the right candidate to add real-world, experience to his/her resume and gain knowledge of the state government process.

Interns will:

  • Prepare correspondence; procure copies of legislation and/or other state-related documents or information requested by constituents;
  • Organize and implement district-wide outreach events, including legislative advisory committee meetings, seminars and press conferences;
  • Assist in generating proactive news stories in local and regional media outlets;
  • Monitor news and assemble clipping book; and
  • Assist with constituent cases and inquiries
